Wouldn't Want To Miss This...

The State Of Florida is attempting to break the world record for the most people reading a book at the same time. They chose Peter and the Starcathers. You wouldn't want miss the Public Service Announcement that Dave and Ridley did for the Public Broadcasting.

Go down this opening page to a list of highlighted links. There is our PSA.

Happy viewing.

We just got a copy of the second Peter book. You might even grab Megan's eyeballs after the last Lemony Snicket book is done...

We're on the other coast, but good luck with the record!

AWESOME! Great PSA. I'm sure my niece Jori will be participating -- Peter and the Starcatchers is her "most favorite book EVER!" (in her words). When she received the copy of Peter and the Shadow Thieves you and Dave autographed for her (at the Naperville StrumpStop), I instantly became "Aunt Hero." It was worth driving 3 1/2 hours (each way).

Seriously, they're great books, and I hope you and Dave make pots and pots of well-deserved money from them!

Peter and the Starcatchers has been nominated for the Sunshine State Young Readers Award (FL), and the Rebecca Caudill Award (IL). I wondered how many other states with similar programs had nominated Peter.... When I googled it, I found VT, KS, OK, AZ, and "the Pacific Northwest." Anybody know of any others?

The event was fantastic. Dave and I had a blast. They web-cast it, but I'm not sure about the link.
Fun was had by all.
