Do you guys always write books together.
Dave Barry and I have written the two Peter Pan books together, as well as Escape From The Carnivale. But it's the first time for both of us. Prior to that we'd each written over 20 books "solo."

speaking of Vmk is their an area in the real vmk where there is stuff about finn and is their a finn on vmk, or do you (ridley) play as him or someone else
Oh, Ridley what can you tell me about the imagineers how do you become one(who might you need to know)andhow long would you need to work for disney to become one(what fields of work)
How much of the things in Kingdom Keepers is true? Did you do research about all those things to write the book? Is there really an underground trash disposal system? I really like your books =D
I just noticed all of you r book covers have the moon on them just a thought.
VMK has agreed to tie-in with KK2 so that there will be overlapping clues, etc. It should be REALLY fun.

I actually have neglected to read the Kingdom Keepers as I've been too obseessed with the Peter Pan books and
writing my own stories
(not fan fictions of any sort, just stories), but I think I shall read up on Kingdom Keepers.

I think it's such a cool idea for an author to have a blog where he or she actually interacts with his or her readers. I'm curious- after the rest of the Peter books, and Kingdom Keepers (which I absolutely loved and read over and over), will you write any more books for Disney?
I can't wait until KK 2 comes out!

Are you gonna add some more Disney Villains? Is there any chance that Oogie Boogie, my favorite disney villain of all, could be in any series of Kingdom Keepers? I just recently finished your'e book in a week! I never was into reading but I couldn't put that book down! Your'e a great writer! :) .

I was thinking it would be cool if the dhi's set up a headquarter's in the park in KK2, I was thinking maybe the swiis family robinson tree house. oh and can you tell us, will there be any new dhi's in KK2?
Hey Ridley! I just wanted to say I love your books! I have read Kingdom Keepers twice and I am currently reading Peter and the Star Catchers (I can't put it down!). You and Dave have done a great job and I can't wait to read the rest of Star Catchers and I can't wait to start Peter and the Shadow Thieves. It has actually inspired a story of my own which takes place in Never Land (lol)
Anyway I was wondering if you were thinking about signing a deal or two making Kingdom Keepers a movie. If you did that I would be so happy! I love the book and to see it on screen would be really cool! I'm sure the other Kingdom Keeper fans out there would be just as thrilled. I would so audition!
Anyway, love your books and I look forward to reading Kingdom Keepers 2, when you finish.

Does that mean that vmk will something in game, or that you'll just mention VMK in the book again. If there was something interactive in vmk, that would be fantastic!

We're working on getting something interactive between the 2nd book and VMK, yes. And it would be VERY cool.
The second book is now scheduled to be published in the fall of 2008. It will be written by summer of 2007, and then take a year to be published.

Hey ridley, in the new book will there be any more info as to why Finn is the "chosen leader". I mean obviuosly he is the main character so of course he will be the leader, but why was he chosen as the leader ?What makes him different from the rest of the DHI's will we find out in KK2 ?
I'm not sure if you've said this anywhere yet, but...
Has Disney Movies accepted KK yet? If so, do you have any ideas when or where the auditions for the movie would be? Just a general idea would be great. I live in the south and would be very interested in auditioning for something as cool as a movie based on such a wonderful book.

I have a novel for Disney called Steel Trapp that will be published April 2008. It's a long wait, but I think you'll enjoy it.
Dave and I will publish the 3rd and final Starcatchers next October.

Have you noticed that the movie Night at the Museum has the exact same plot as The Kingdom Keepers, except at the Museum of Natural History?
My mother pointed that out. How she noticed, I don't know.

I can't wait for KK2 OR Peter 3!!! I have been waiting for both with baited breath! Actually, I'm still wating, but now that I know when one of the dates is, I can breath a little easier! :)
What is the cover going to look like on KK2? And on Peter 3?
That is too long of a wait for just one book!!!!!! :( My fingers are crossed about the movie, though. ur right, hale, about the night at the museum thing. i never would have noticed that either. kinda weird, huh?

why are there so many changes you've made from the original Peter Pan novel? I understand it won't all be 100% the same, but you have Hook's hook hand wrong, and other stuff like that. I really love PATST, its one of my favourite books, so I;m wondering did you change this to avoid copyright infringement or something?

Hey Ridley, I'm sorry about more spam since that's the whole reason we don't have the forums anymore :(. anyway my question is, Have you seen any of the character designs for the Peter and the Starcatchers Movie? I'm really interested in this, and hopefully they please (I'd hate to see a madagascar looking film). Anyway, I hope you're enjoying writing KK2! Take your time, there's plenty of other things to do while we wait for your next 2 books.

Will there be any other villains in Kingdom Keepers aside from Maleficent and Chernabog? Because a few good villains to use would be baddies such as Ursula, Jafar, Hades, Pete and Oogie Boogie.

wow! i just realized Chernabog is the giant demon/gargoyl in Fantasia! you know Sora had to fight chernabog in Kingdom Hearts 2. you should really play that game ridley, it has alot of similarities to Kingdom Keepers.
