So KK2 is now coming out next summer . I remember hearing it was to come out in "the fall". Was it previously set for Fall of 2007 or Fall of 2008?
Just when I thought the wait was almost over...
I was just curious, would the rest of the Kingdom Keepers series possibly involve the other two parks? I thought it would be really neat if you did a story about Disney/MGM. There would be a lot of interesting material you could use for the series. Who knows what could happen in the Tower of Terror! Thanks Ridley.

Also, I don't know if I mentioned this. I just happen to be in Denver at my cousin's house when you visit the Tattered Bookcover in July. It is right near their house. I will be there, even though I live here in Connecticut!

Catherine: I was originally told Sept 2008 for KK2. Now I'm told July or August -- so it has been moved up closer.

If there are more KK's (and I hope there are!) they will move to other parks. Yes. The next is set mostly in Animal Kingdom. Jez has been kidnapped and is believed held inside the park, and the Kingdom Keepers have less than a day to find her, or risk falling asleep and crossing-over (as Maybeck did in Disney After Dark) and not being able to "get back."

I have a quick question about Jez in KK. Just after the spell is broken, Maleficent tries to catch her. However, she could not get near her. Also, at this time, Finn says, "Is Jez who I think she is?" I was wondering at this part if maybe Jez and Amanda were characters, and that was why Maleficent couldn't touch her; because she had powers. Is that what Finn means by what he said, or is he just wondering if they're really sisters?

I have a question for you from some of my swimmers. I had told them about how you had the chance to tour Disney World after it had closed for research on the Kingdom Keepers.
When I told them the second book would be taking place in the Animal Kingdom park they wanted to know if you got the same opportunity to tour the park as you did with Disney World?
The kids are so eager for this next installment, they keep asking me when it's coming out.I keep telling them next year, but it seems like a eternity to them.
Thankfully, Peter and the Secret of Rundoon is coming out soon, which they are also very excited about.
Second question is about your adult titles. I have a few parents that want to start reading your novels, and I was wondering if you could give me an idea of a first book of yours to start them off with?

Catherine: Epcot has a brief role in KK2. I hope for much more there in a future KK novel.
Caroline: Yes, you're onto something. Jez and Amanada are indeed not just kids at school. More to come in KK2.
Tyler: I have visited the Animal Kingdom (AK) several times in "behind the scenes" tours and visits. All of that will come out in KK2.
I often suggest Beyond Recognition as a place to start on my Boldt series. I would definitely suggest Killer Weekend to those parents who don't mind buying a hardcover book.

I loved the Kingdom Keepers and am patiently awaiting the next installment! I have a couple of suggestions for KK2. It would be awesome if you introduced some of the other Overtakers (Jafar? Captain Hook?) in the sequel.
I also was wondering about KK1: Were the dolls in "It's a Small World" charmed by Maleficent,or is biting people a normal habit?
Has the Never Land book #2 already come out? I thought it was coming out in august...

Hi! I have only read Peter and the Starcatchers and Peter and the Shadow Thieves, but I already know I love your writing, and I want to read as much as I can! What other books do you suggest I start with? The other two books that seem to have something to do with the Peter and Molly story and then these Kingdom Keeper books that seem to be so popular, perhaps? I really want to read as much as I can- your writing is amazing!

I've travel to Disney World twice a year since I was 2 years old and now I am 16 and I never get sick of the place. A few trips ago I stumbled upon Peter and the Starcatchers and I fell in love with it...I couldn't put it down along with Kingdom Keepers and Peter and the Shadow Thevies. And I cannot wait until KK2 comes out and the book # 3 for the Peter triology!! But I am writing this comment because I live in Buffalo N.Y and none of your book signings are near where I live. If by any chance in the near future one of your visitings could be around my area I would be soo happy. If you could take that into consideration that would be amazing. And please comment me back!

I know you probably answered this back on the forums, but they're gone now, and my memory hasn't been as good as usual. Do you plan on having The Hosts go to Disneyland at some point in a future Kingdom Keepers book? I think it would add to the magic, and maybe even California Adventure could have a part (With High School Musical Pep Rally getting a little....trashed along the way.) And I'm not going to mention my other idea, just in case you already have it in your head.. But thanks for at least taking the time to read this shortly long post.

I don't think you're going to have a problem with that. But here's a more personal question:
When did you start writing, and when did you know you wanted to be a writer? I write a lot, but almost none of it is fiction, which is what I want to write. I know It's never too late to start, but I feel it's going to impact my skills. So I was just wondering about those two questions.

There are no immediate plans for a film, but Disney is working on a Broadway play (musical) of Peter and the Starcatchers. If that's a success, it is likely that a film will follow.

A Broadway Musical? I think that should come AFTER the movie. But Disney has their say. Can't wait for #2 comes out. I REALLY want to read it right now, but we all know that's impossible. Hee hee... I really think that it will be a hit. ALSO: All you VMK fans out there want to see something really cool? How about KK? Coming soon. =D

Ridley!!!!! I love your two Neverland books! In fact I'm HOOKed (wocka wocka wocka). I love Captain Hook, surprise, and am anxious to get Kingdom Keepers because he might be in there. Loved Black Stache/Captain Hook! So true to the charactors! So when's the next book with Hook? Will you be back in San Jose soemtime next year? I read Q&A with Dave and Ridley and I've just finished reading the third Peter and the Starcatchers book. It was a great book and had an awesome ending (the last chapter was my favortie). I'm just wondering, is there's going to be another book?

I have a question about Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, the last chapter (The Promise). It said that everything on Never Land wouldn't die becasue of the Starstuff and if you drank the
water you would live forever. James, Thomas, Ted, and Pentriss left Never Land to go to England with Lord Aster. Did they drink the water? If they did, does that mean they live forever and never age? Will they come back to Never Land? And do the new Lost Boys drink the water and live forever? I'm just curious.
Hey can you tell me when the Peter and the Starcatchers movie will come out? Because i just recently read the book and i'm thinking it would be a great movie! Thanks for your help!!
