It sounds like you're having a great time!
Still counting down to the Contemporary signing, it might end up that we'll be in town that weekend, anyway.

What a wonderful evening at Whale of a Tale in Irvine! Both authors did a great job entertaining the crowd, young and old alike. Ridley is a fantastic children/ young adult author, and having recently finished Killer Weekend, I am impressed with his crime thrillers as well.
I only have one question: How can I get Blood tide signed so that I have the entire 6 volume set signed by both authors? Any more co-authored works coming in the future?

Ridley,
I have a few pictures from your Poisoned Pen signing and one from the Killer Weekend signing. Is there anywhere that I can email them to you?

And yes: Dave and I are writing another book, so we'll be on the road (Jan 2009) and will sign any and all books!

I was on fantasticfiction.com, and I looked you up to see what new books you had coming out, and I was just wondering if it is true that Kingdom Keepers 2 will be called Rise of Chernabog?
I think it's more likely it will be titled:
Kingdom Keepers-Book Two: Disney at Dawn
but Disney is deciding that right now.

I wish I could've been at the signing..my uncle was there for me though..I'm jealous.
Are you guys definatley for sure going to write another book about Peter and the gang?

Mr. Pearson,
Where can I find the second book of the Kingdom Keepers and are you going to be at the Contemporary December 8th from 2:00 - 4:00?
Gosh that was fun today.
My dad bought me Rundoon about an hour before the signing began, so I got a lovely pin as a bonus.
I'm glad you like pictures, I guess my obsession comes in handy during those slow days in art class.
Finished it today! Rundoon was great.
Ridley,
Are authors limited to a number of books that they can publish per year?
Hi, I'm photogirl! I'm new to this website sssssoooooooooooooooooooo...... thats it for now I guess.
*i'm new to all of this we'll here i go . dear mr.pearson i have a wierd imagination. i let my imagination take me away in my dreams. i'm really into skulls and pirates so i really injoyed the starcatchers series. i finished the third book peter and the secret of rundoon in one day. i got the book at 7:35 pm and finished it at 12:15 am.it was funny because my mom wanted me to have the book to read for a month. i've been working on my on story actually i had it in my head for a year now but don't know where to start.i wish i could tell you about the story but it's to long and has way much imagination and it's about
two world and battales and tradgey but yet still has humor. well i lived in los angeles but recently moved to rancho cucumonga. i'm a cheerleader . mostly cheerleaders are snoby but i'm not . it's hard for me to make friends because i'm really shy but then outspoken. me and my little sister and mom been through way more than i can explain.and my imagination takes me away from it all well that is all i have to say -sincerly, brianna celeste garcia p.s i would really like to hear from you sometime soon.and talk more about the starcatcher series. thank you for listining.*

Dear Ridley,
I recently finished reading the last book in the Peter and the Starcatchers series, and it was amazing!! However, after I finished, I started to read the original Peter Pan and realized that Ms. Darling (Molly) seems like she does not remember Peter at all. At moments, one would think that she is finally remembering him, but then she does a complete turnaround like when she says, "what nonsense you talk, precious. No one can get into the house without knocking," as though she totally forgets about flying and everything. I assumed in the last book that she was around the age of 14, and if such traumatic instances happened to me, I would not soon forget it. Also, George seems to forget completely that he ever knew Peter. he says to his children the story of Peter Pan is just one that Nana made up. My next question is, why do u need to think happy thoughts to be able to fly? It never mentioned in any of the Starchatcher books that one needed to feel happy in order to fly. Furthermore, why does one now need fairy dust in order to fly? I don't think that tinker bell even had such dust in the Satrchatcher series. My last question is, why would Peter's shadow not stick to him when he went into Wendy's room that night?
sorry, one more question, is there ever going to be a movie made of peter and the Starcatchers? and if so, when?
In response to Kate's questions, I really think that Mr. Pearson and Mr. Barry left a few doors open for you to come up with your own explanations for things--perhaps one of Tinker Bell's shenanigans happens to make her produce dust, or maybe the whole confrontation with the Shadow Thieves made her act like that, only it didn't happen until later. Remember, there's still a bit of time between the end of Rundoon and the beginning of the original Peter Pan.
In the first Starcatchers book, I think it mentions somewhere when Molly explains to Peter how to fly that you have to be concentrated or something, I'm not quite sure, or maybe Peter discovered that, to non-fluent fliers, thinking of something as euphoric as flying can help to make said fliers fly.
Also, in the end of the Rundoon book, it is mentioned a few times that Peter notices a subtle difference in both himself and the shadow so, again, you have to come to your own conclusions as to why Peter's shadow gradually drifts away from him, or sometimes decides not to follow.
Puzzler,
thank you for responding, and I agree with you that Pearson and Barry left a few doors open for ones own interpretation. However, I still do not understand how or why Molly and George simply forgot the huge chunk of their lives invloving Peter and the Satrcatchers
I actually was thinking of this while I was writing the response, but then forgot.
Remember: Molly IS a Starcatcher. It wouldn't do her or her colleagues much good if she went about promoting the existence of someone who is living proof that starstuff exists. She probably told George to never talk about it. Perhaps the Starcatchers even came up with a way of erasing his memory... Who knows?
I love your books! I have an up-and-coming blog...I'm going to post some of my own writings on it. They're also entwined with Disney. I have a question - how long did it take you to write "Kingdom Keepers"? I want my book to be done by the end of this summer, but I'm not quite sure how it will all go down. Anyhow, your books are great!
These books are amazing. I love how it explains everything how Peter pan came to be (even if Berry didn't plan it that way LOL) are there any plans to add onto the story about his adventures after the original peter pan?
I just finished reading Kingdom Keepers to my 5th grade class. They absolutely loved it. They can't wait for the sequel.
