Steel this book...

Did you see the cover to Steel Trapp coming out in late March, early April?

It's a "crime thriller" for younger readers. A 14 year old boy gets on an overnight train and sees something he shouldn't. He has a perfect memory, so things get a little sticky because he can't forget what he saw....

I speak at Chillicothe R school in western, Missouri next week (6 talks to all different grades). Looking forward to it.

Spoke at Solomon Schecter Day School on Friday. Great bunch of kids!

Is this going to be a new series? It seems really interesting. Is this book illustrated like the starcatcher ones?

When do you decide to turn your books into movies? If you do, would you ever consider giving a talented unknown a chance to audition? In this day and age, especially living in St. Louis, it is much harder to break into any production without a lot of help. I'll be seeing you on the 4th in St. Louis. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Take care of yourself with all of your traveling. You aught to buy a jet from my dad.

Mr, Pearson, I find it fun to meet an author. I have two questions for you. Where do you draw the line between adult and young adult books? Also how did you get your first work published?

If you ever do make the Peter and the Starcatchers series into a movies, I'd love to audition for Molly or an Island girl! I love to act and have been in plays though I'd love to be in a movie! You don't get many chances living in the little town of St.Augustine. Also, what places are you going to on your Orlando tour I'd love to meet you!
