THE BLOG IS OPEN!!

I've removed the requirement to have an account in order to comment on the blog. Too much hassle!

You will instead be asked to match a word, or set of letters, to reduce spam, but you don't have to have a special account any longer.

I hope more of you will join us!

Hello, I was wondering if you'll ever come to Flagstaff, Arizona for book signing or anything of the sort. I am a HUGE HUGE fan and my friend and I share your books. We can't wait until Kingdom Keepers 2 comes out - We're also HUGE Disney Fans -, and we can't wait until Another Neverland book comes out.

Thanks,

Hopefully another incident like with that "Film" post won't occur again.

Oh, what do you think of the American Idol results? David Cook was my favorite from the start!

Great News, especially because I kept forgeting my acount info!

Also,
Is the KK2 audio book cover on Amazon authentic? If so, I hope it's different than the cover of the actual book. It just doesnt have the feeling of a KK book in my opinion.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, if you're sure. This is really going to increase traffic and off topic posting.

I'm going to keep signing in though. So if someone signs in as "hale@ems" without the orange "B" symbol, it isn't me.

Oh boy!
I have been wanting to comment on here forever.
Hi Ridley! Is there ANY hope at all to save VMK? Aren't you upset that they are closing it... don't you worry that your books will seem outmoded? Thanks for your incredible book writing!

My niece loaned my daughter a copy of Peter and the Starcatchers. We are all hooked now and my daughter just finished reading Secrets of Rundoon. Thank you from a parent that loves that my daughter is now a reader.

Hi, my name is Carole. My nephew Scott was a HUGE Disney fan. He passed away last week, June 19th. He was 10 years old. He had brain cancer. I had been thinking I would love to come up with an idea for a book with Disneyland and Scott as a character, and then I came across your book. If ever possible, if you write another and need another character and could possilby consider Scott, it would be a wonderful thing.

I can send you a photo or a copy of the program from the memorial service we had last week. We have lots of pictures of us at Disneyland. We never made it to the Magic Kingdom. I have two boys, 9 and 10 and my sister had three, 12, 10 and 8. Now she has two.

Anyway, thank you for any consideration. Sincerely, Carole M. Kealoha, proud to be Scott's Aunt....

Just finished reading your book, The Kingdon Keepers, Disney After Dark. I am an 8th grade Language Arts teacher, and think my students will greatly enjoy the book, especially because you mention Maitland Middle, our school.

I don't know when you will have another reprint of the book, but I thought I would point out a typo/inconsistency. On the top of page 179, it says, "A few minutes later the five kids rode the night-sky elevator..." It should be four kids. At this point they are looking for Maybeck, so he isn't with them. I know minute after so many pages, but I should have a second job as a copyrighter. These kind of inconsistencies drive me crazy. I also found the one typo of a character's name in a Leon Uris 600 page novel!

Typo or not, I loved the book and want to thank you for providing another series that especially my boys will enjoy reading!

Hi again! Scott's Aunt Carole here. Thank you for your kind response. Both my 10 year old Caleb and I finished Kingdom Keepers! We thoroughly enjoyed it! We can't wait for the next one to come out! Such a great idea and such a wealth of material to mine.

I am a Branch Manager with the Los Angeles Public Library. I will be recommending your books to the teens!!
