Where do you see KK4?
I realize you have not read KK3 -- but let's assume it's nearly complete, and that it takes place primarily in Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Let's assume that most of the Kingdom Keepers are still alive by the end of book 3. As a reader, where would you like to "go" in KK4, and why? (think Disney parks, near and far; think Disney Cruises; Disney On Ice...)

If any of them die, it would be horrible! But as long as they all live, i guess it would be cool to see them expand to Paris, Anaheim, or the Cruise lines..
I don't really know much about the Disney on Ice, so i'm probably not much help in that dept..
I still think each location should have its own DHIs, but through the magic of Disney, they can all understand each other, and they can chose which park they want to be in!

In KK2 I believe it was mentioned that DHIs for Disneyland and the cruise ships were being developed. The overall concept of cruise ships sounds good, but I think it'll be 'fairly' (my attempt at a pun) easy to run out of things to do there. There is the island, and the Ghost Ship, but I'm not sure what else. I'm sure you could come up with a bunch more stuff to do on the ships though!
The other resorts all around the world would be a really cool expansion to the series, and considering the uniqueness of DisneySea in Tokyo, as well as the Shanghai Disneyland project waiting for approval (which apparently would be different than a regular Magic Kingdom-type park in terms of theming and layout), and that would leave you with nearly endless possibilities for plots. Language however could be a big barrier when it comes to other resorts, and may make it confusing.
I really don't know much about Disney On Ice, so I won't give an opinion on that. However, I really like Expederest's idea of having a mixture within all four theme parks of Walt Disney World, it would be spectacular! That would definitely be one of my favorite choices.
I LOVE the idea of going to Disneyland. It is the heart of the Disney Parks and more importantly, the birthplace of Disney magic. If KK4 is going to be the last book in the series (which I hope it won't be) I think it should take place there. I've always imagined Disneyland as the location where the series ends for some reason.
Wherever you take the series, I was wondering if you were going to be adding new DHIs to different resorts, like you had the animals be DHIs in AK. Not saying I'd want the focus to shift from Finn and the other KKs, just wondering if others kids local to the resorts would be added, or if new international 'sound tracks' of the host's taping would be recorded for the original DHIs in areas with different languages. It's been a pretty big topic of discussion on DHIDiscussion...

When Ridley put "Let's assume that most of the kingdom keepers are still alive." he was just kidding. Ridley wouldn't let one of the kk die. It's just to make people interested in it.
Also how about the kk go to one of the other parks, like Disneyland. While they are there they meet the other DHI's. Later on they find out that the DHI's are evil overtakers in disguise. Maybe one of them could be the evil dude Charlene falls in love with.
I also like the cruise ship idea. I've been on the cruise ships 6 times already. It would be so cool having the KK running around Castaway Cay (Disney's private island) looking for clues. And maybe while their on the ship they could be attacked by pirates or Ursula.
I'm out of ideas.

I see KK4 as being the last in the series, actually, and in Disneyland, because that's the HQ of the "magic". Or maybe it could be all the kingdoms, global. Maybe it could be divided into five books, one for each kingdom (disneyland, disney world, disney paris, disney tokyo, and get disney shanghai to be approved). And maybe the five kingdoms could somehow connect with the five kks. idk. go kk!
I think they should go to Disneyland Tokyo because they have the volcano at the Disneysea place and Chernabog could live/hide in there

please please please Ridley, please write one about disneyland. Ive never experienced the magic of WDW but i go to disneyland regularly and love to read about walt disney's first amusement park. I dunno... im just strict to original. Disneyland was the first disney park, there could be this whole story behind the history and stuff. The kids could discover clues in its foundations or rides. It would be so awesome!

HOLD UP THERE RIDLEY.... kk4?!?!?!?!?!?!? u know how much that would complete my life if you wrote a fourth kk book?!?!?! :) Anyways, going back to the topic, here are my suggestions. (Sorry if i stole any ideas from anyone else. I didn't read any other comments on the blog!!!):
1. I think you should keep it relatively in Disney World. Try to focus on MGM alot and a little Epcot. There's a new American Idol thing out. GREAT IDEA- I think the kks have to audition to find the next clue, whatever that is in the story. (That would be funny seeing them trying out!! Maybe Maybeck is the one who gets through and Charlene is steamed that she didn't. Then she makes excuses to the other kks that she didn't have any water before. hahaha!!! ok i'm stopping. :))
2. If this is the final book to the series (tear tear), you should combine the story not only with Disney World but with Disneyland too. That park is the reason Disney World exists! Maybe Maleficent wants more power so she goes to California, or something or other... I sometimes forget that you are the writer :).
3. My next suggestion would be not to go all over the globe for the kks. I think Disney World and Disneyland are good but going to farther is enough for me. I don't think the cruise line would be a good idea too. I like having the attractions/rides around the kks as obstacles (thunder mountain- the dinosaur; small world- the dolls... get my flow???)

Also, maybe KK4 could skip several years, and they're all grown up, but reunited in Disneyland, and have to fight the Overtakers one last time. That also might tie in with someone dying as well.

I don't think they should include the AI but i love the idea of the kk's going to disneyland. i think the overtakers should kiddnapp wayne and they (kk's) have to save him in disneyland. =] i love all the kk books n i really hope you write more.

How about they go into the movies, like a paraelle dimension! What could happen is that at the end of KK3, the servers are switched and they are sent into Walt Disney's greatest films (101 Dalmations, Snow White, Fantasia, all of the good ones) and they have to find a way out! How cool would that be! And at the last moment of the book, Finn sacrifices hiself to save the Kingdom Keepers so they can get out (how heroic). Talk about a cliffhanger. Then you can write KK5 and that can be the final saga.

Hmmm... I think the water parks would be pretty interesting... And Downtown Disney, too. I'd be cool to have to find clues on water rides. Good part is that they're DHI's, so they won't get affected by the water. Unless you want to make it that they get messed up when touched by water in their DHI forms. But then that would interfere with Jez being a DHI in KK2 and the rain going straight through her. Downtown Disney would be fun because there's the Rainforest Cafe, which the animals could come to life; it'd be like a replay of Animal Kingdom. Also, there's LegoWorld. If it's still there, there's a big dinosaur in the water made out of legos. It'd be awesome to see those things come to life. And in LegoWorld, there's a playground made out of legos. That could be used as a secret hide-out, though the location is pretty obvious. And Ridley, I'm hoping you keep EVERYONE alive!!!!! I'll be devasted if you don't. Unless it's Rob. That changes everything. :D

Hmm... I seem to disagree with a few people here about the whole KK-death thing. Not sure if you meant to have it sound like that Ridley, but regardles, I'd be pretty okay with one of the KKs dying, as long as it's sad and dramatic, it would be a great addition to the story. My gut would tell me it's Wayne who kicks the bucket...
Panda, Tokyo DisneySEA isn't based off the little mermaid. There IS a little mermaid land within the park, but the park itself is actually based on water and waterfronts. Good idea though. I also like the idea of the DHIs journeying into the Character World. That thought has been on my mind for a while...
But I ramble...
I think they the kks should go on the cruise lines to get to different disney lands all over the world and then in the last book go back to hollywood studios and have a "battle to the death" with all of the overtakers at once.
i think the kks should go disneyland and they like in college and Finn parents could get kidnapped by malificent and then the parents and Amanda and finally the parents understand. that would be awsome!!!!!!!

Along with Meg's 'future' idea, possibly the KK's are celebrating their Disney Grad Nite Party when all 'Heck' breaks lose, Overtaker-wise. This could be a pretty cool final-battle idea.
One last fight before they begin the rest of their lives.
Personally, I like what "KingdomKeepersRock!" said about the 4th KK book taking place in Disneyland, California. Mostly because I live in Southern California, but also because there would be many more things linking to Walt Disney, because Walt Disney frequently went to Disneyland, and also because he never lived to see the finished construction of Disneyworld.
There are a few ways the crew could end up in Disneyland:
1. They traveled for the grand opening of DHIs in Disneyland.
2. The 3rd book ends with Wayne being taken to Disneyland by the Overtakers (he's already kidnapped) and they need to go there to follow a series of clues to find Wayne.
3. The crew needs to find out more history about Walt Disney so they go to Disneyland.
4. There is a new technology that enables the DHIs to cross over to any park of their choosing, and they need to go to Disneyland for one of the other reasons.
5. At the end of the 3rd novel, Maleficent teleports the crew (as DHIs) to Disneyland, as the real crew has SBS (Sleeping Beauty Syndrome, for those of you who have no idea whatsoever). The only way to escape SBS while they are in Disneyland, is to do something special, (Ridley is very creative, he can figure out what they need to do).
I hope these are ideas worth reading, and most of them require the 3rd book to end in a cliffhanger, getting the crew to Disneyland somehow, (which, in my opinion, having the end of the 3rd novel be a cliffhanger, would be really awesome!)

Disneyland in Anaheim, definitely. It's the original park, and lots of "Walt Disney" ghost sightings have been seen by employees in the Dream Suite. Also, I definitely hope Amanda and Finn get together :)

DisneyLand Tokyo would be cool. So would the cruises but don't forget the cruises go to Europe. DisneyLand paris is in europe.But in kk2 wayne said that they were soon going to put dhi's on the cruises.

I kinda want the book to stay in WDW and the studios would be good if u had already used the other 3 parks. Downtown Disney, i think would be great, especially scince the kk's are older. It might work to go to Paris, hong kong, and the other countries, (sorry im just so connected to WDW) but dont do disney on ice because i dont think enough know a lot about it. And the cruise is cool but i defenitly dont think it is the right setting for ur book
Your welcome, Panda, and thanks "KingdomKeepersRock" for the support, but these are all great ideas, and I am not just leaning towards Disneyland. I don't think the setting on a Disney Cruise is too great of an idea, because it is kind of restricted to whatever is on the ship, which is guest rooms, the outside deck(s), and all the places where the employees work and lounge. A trip to Disneyland Tokyo would be really neat for the Keepers. I think the very specific places like "Disney On Ice" is not enough to write a book about.
I think KK4 should be set in another park because, in my opinion, Walt Disney World is out of [general] places to go. I am leaning towards Disneyland though, because of all its connections to Walt Disney.
I could see all the DHIs going to different areas of Disney. Like Willa being a Disney Channel person (New pass the plate person?), Maybeck working with Pixar, Charlene goes to Disney on Ice, Philby becoming an animation voice, and Finn becoming a director for Disney movies.

OMG! I just had a genius idea! What if some film people decided to make a movie about the Kingdom Keepers, and they wanted Finn, Philby, Maybeck, Willa, and Charlene to star in it. (No Amanda and Jez bc there involvement is not as well known) Then they say yes, but the director people start changing the story and everything, and making it unrealistic.
I don't think Ridley Pearson would hide that big of a secret and not tell us, anonymous. And that is just a rumor. If it's not on his website, it's not confirmned. But I still believe that Disney is planning on making it a movie. We will just have to wait until Ridley says something about it.

I wouldn't mind it being in Disneyland Paris. I think the castle there is the best castle out of all.
Under the castle is a dungeon, where there's a dragon. Seeing as it's Sleeping Beauty Castle, I would assume it's Maleficent.
Oh, and it's close by to me. I'd just need to get the Eurostar :p

As an idea on how to use these, maybe they've each signed up to go on some field trip to the area with their schools, and "coincidentally" something's happening in the park nearby that they need to sort out.
I personally think it should stay within the Diseny World area. I perhaps the cruise would be okay. But, i mean... Disneyland, though first, has less to offer. I also think, for the fact fo integral perposes, if you wanted to go to disneyland, do it after you cover all of the Disneyworld Parks, like a location pattern/series. EXAMPLE: if your flying around the world,currently in Paris France and the only two stops left on your list are Rome Italy and Paris Texas,you're not gonna fly to Texas just to fly back to Rome. Just an oppinion. I do think Disney Quest and the rest of the Downtown Disney area has poential. Can you imagine the Kingdom Keepers via Crique De Sole?

In KK4, I think the Kingdom Keepers should get a free vacation for the opening of the DHI'S at both the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic.
The KK's arrive at the port saying goodbye to their parents as they board the ship. Once on board, The KK's get prepared for the The Golden Mickeys, after they honor the villains and heroes in Disney history, the KK's come out for the first view of their DHIs on seas! Unfortunately, the lights go out and the ship starts to tilt, alerting the attendees. The KK's can't believe its happening! After the wild ride, the KK's discuss the accident, as they stand next to a large, glass screen, Maybeck looks out and swears he saw octopus tentacles, and left behind is a nautilis shell. The KK's alert the lifeguards that they saw octopus tentacles and that the accident could have been caused by the octopus, then they ask if its possible to board a boat to grab the shell. The worker laughed.... What happens next?
Ooooh and like Ursula comes out tom the sea!
I think Ridley will let us know when Disney plans on making a movie. I'm sure he wants this movie to be successful, and if anyone wants to try out for it, then he'll let us know.... I really hope he does, though. Lol. Anyways, I do think that the KK should be kept in Disney World. All the books revolve around the Disney parks, and they should stay that way. It'd be pretty different to take them away from where it all began. :)

Maleficent does need cold, so Disney on Ice would be the perfect place to hide, especially since there's a lot of people dressed as Disney characters there. She'd blend in perfectly. The KK's would have to go to the show in order to find Maleficent. The audience would think it was all planned out... I can picture it. :D

After getting past the shock of the word most and not all, I would agree with Edward Cullen. It seems like he (u r a he right, Edward?) has it all planned out, but I like the ursula idea. Also they couldn't get much help there unless someone knew French, which would be interesting...

There are about 4 ideas I am in love with that have already been posted.
1. Characters being transported into Walts greatest Disney Movies.
2. Disneyland

4. All 4 of the WDW parks ending in a huge, intense, on the edge of your seat action packed final battle. ( only if its the last kk book of course, in which case...no!!! write more!)
I agree with Michael_D. It would be very cool to see them expand to Disney in other countries all over the world, like if Maleficent and Chernabog were missing in other disney parks around the world, creating an army or something.
Please do not kill the KKs. These books are great by the way. I definitly think that the fantasmic should be included in one of the books.
I do agree with MGM, but I also like Disneyland (CA) and Disneyland Paris, and Disney Cruise Line. But I think the ultimate (besides MGM) would be Tokyo Disneyland/Disney Sea. ESPECIALLY the Disney sea part. There is something very mysterious and fantastic about that park from The Mermaid Lagoon and Journey to the center of the earth to The amazing braviSEAmo, which could easily go horribly wrong. The park is the PREFECT setting for stories of mystery and adventure! Either MGM or Tokyo Disney Sea! (or both)
Kingdom Keepers 4 should still take place in walt disney world. It should take place in Magic Kingdom, MGM, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. It would just be really cool to read about the Kingdom Keepers chasing more of Jez's dreams around in all of the 4 parks. It should take place at night in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. It would just be really cool. Then MGM and Animal Kingdom can be during the day. Right now i am out of more ideas.

I think that they should take a Disney Cruise to Disneyland, because Disneyland was the only park Walt got to see and make, so you could easily make a story about how he built in secret things that, because he knew the Overtakers would come to power, could help the KK save Disneyland.

But a visit to the WestCoast to Disneyland and California adventure shouldn't be avoided. (especially considering that the Keepers programs is expanding WITH Disney)I mean, if you look at the story arc (that we as readers have seen) there is a "deep magic" that is being pulled through. So, we all know that there HAS to be some Walt secret that can only be answered at his originial park. Perhaps a hidden time capsule in the iconic statue that centers all the "lands" to mainstreet. (ps, I'd like a shoutout if that idea is used... lol) Or perhaps, a secret so deadly, that it could be used to warp or enhance Walt's true vision of the parks.(if the pen was the wand, then what is the 'hat' in the sorcerer's apprentice?) The destruction of imagination or the liberation of true magic...
Then again, you can always have something along the lines of raising a villian from the ocean & would need the cruise line to complete that circuit. A typhoon that puts the REAL keepers in danger? ie, Disney offers the keepers a cruise for them and their families for the 'send-off' of the new DHIs around the world. Using that concept, you have means to introduce MANY new keepers and interchange some character romance. Can you say long-distance love triangle? MWHAHAHA!

since it is the fourth book, why not have it in the 4th disney park. there is a lot that can be done in Hollywood studios. The starwars vehicle can come to life. The antagonists from the great movie ride. THere is the huge playground that they can hide in from honey i shrunk the audience

Also, to add to that, The disney cruise is going to have tour guides(the kids) so they all get a free cruise with their parents, it departs from NYC, so they get their the night before, and see a show on Disney On Broadway, maybe Little Mermaid and Ursla, can attack them, or king triton fires lightning at them, then it continues on to the ship, and one of the stage shows is Herculues, so maybe one of the really strong Gods could attack them! I personally think a location for most or at least some of the kk4 book should take place on a Disney cruise ship and on the private island (Castaway Cay). I myself have been on the cruise ship, Disney Wonder, and it's a perfect oppurtunity, with all the crew and cast memebers on the boat, being stuck at sea, that would be awesome. But it's just a suggestion. Let's not forget the overtakers on the ship would lead to an awesome chase around the ship if there were one. I think it would be awesome if they took a journey along the Adventures by Disney. It would take them everywhere! They would need to know some history of the places. There are major possibilities!
Do NOT have the KK's go on a Disney cruise ship. Going back to Disneyland Anaheim would be the best. It would show us where all the magic began. I've been to Disneyland almost 50 times and i still find new stuff every time.

We love your first two KK books!! They are awesome!! Our mom read them to us!! We would like to see more villains. How about Captain Hook, Cinderella's Evil Step mother, Ursula, Davy Jones, Scar, and Jaffar. How about the Yeti in the Matterhorn or the giant snake in the Indiana Jones Adventure?!

I would definately like to see the Kingdom Keepers in Disneyland California and California Adventure! I absolutely love the books, but being on the west coast and having never been to DisneyWorld makes it a little hard to figure everything out. It would be absolutely amazing if their evil battling took them to California.

I think that the next book should be centered around all four of the disney parks like more of the rides like the first book as well as putting in lots of details of the parks,the hotels, downtown disney(especially disney quest), the water parks(maybe) or you should have it be based on disneyland, since it was the birthplace of disney, and have more in depth parts in the story about walt disney.
Ps. Hope there will still be a movie for Kingdom Keepers 1.

Tokyo DisneySea, because the potential for adventure there is endless, and an adventure there with the Kingdom Keepers would be good to tide me over until i'm older and can go there - their unique Tower of Terror, Ariel's Grotto, the 20, 000 leagues thing, the volcano, alladin/agrabah stuff, and the giant ship ------ the adventure possibility is endless! and it is the most distinct Disney park.
All the Disneyland parks in California, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong are all quite similar, and although they have enough distinctions to make visits to them different from one another, it seems limited in book possibility.
California Adventure is in the million of a billion-dollar re-focus (so it'd be best to write about after the reno's are complete), and Walt Disney Studios Paris is also similar to Disney's Hollywood Studios in WDW.
DisneySea is the most unique and would blow my mind. =) =) =)
I think that it would be awesome to include something like a sort of chase for all the Hidden Mickey's in all the parks. I liked the idea in the first one of going throughout the different rides to find the spray painted clues. (I actually "borrowed" the 3-D glasses from Philharmagic just to see if it would work.) And since the Hidden Mickeys are such a big phenomenon, it seems like a cool idea. Plus it gives you a chance to see the newly added rides like Toy Story Mania or The Laugh Floor come to life, or even rides that weren't in the first two. I think there is also a bigger picture of Disney Parks around the world. Like Disneyland Has some unique rides like Indiana Jones, and Resort in Paris has Journey To The Center Of The Earth. It could be a great opportunnity to expand outside of Disney World.

If you decide not to use Disney on Ice, please just keep the, in Disneyworld. That way, maybe later, if you decided to write a companion series, Disneyland would still be open. Plus, Disneyland DHIs is a good plot for fanfiction, so writing something about that would kind of scratch that.
How bout' the KK's think they have finnaly (a little KK hummuor) destroyed the Over takers so they head to the Disney cruize line where they will be modeling DHI's.

I think that if you take them out of the actual parks where the first novel originally set up the story, it could screw up the series.
I think you're entering rough waters ahead, Mr. Pearson, and if you're going to relocate the characters to another location, it needs to be done with the same spirit and brand as the original and its sequel.
That being said, if the characters were to be relocated in their battle to keep Disney safe, I'd say go for Disneyland and California Adventure first. The differences between that park and WDW down in Orlando could set up some serious situations and adventures for the kids. You could compare and contrast- Maleficent might want to pick up some henchmen from the sister park across the country.
Or if the Disneyland idea is a bummer, send them off on the Disney Cruise Line. That could always be a thrilling novel in itself. Who knows what terror Maleficent can raise at sea? Desert islands, sharks, icebergs- there's no limit to the power of evil, especially in Disney.

I am a disney world cast member and truly i think that the kk's should stay within the wdw parks that is the best thing about the series there is no other like it. But i do think that when it comes to your last kk book whether its the 4th one or you decide to go on i think you should have the kk's battle with the main disney characters including mickey and minnie and other characters like that as a team to finally take down the overtakers... It just has to end with mickey... :)

I think there should be a part where you go to different worlds. For instance, somewhere in the Peter pan ride, there would be a secret passage. when the DHI's go through they pretty much go to Neverland. That could wark fro any ride at any park

I think it should be on the disney cruises. That way you could get the guests involed. plus there is less space and the KKs could pair up with heros that are on the ship like Peter Pan and anybody else.

Okay here's my pitch! I decided to do some image searches for ideas and found a pretty neat site:

It has aerial shots all 4 parks, including the Grand Floridian and the Beach Club! I noticed that the resorts and parks seem to almost be connected by small creeks that link up all of the larger bodies of water (not much in the Magic Kingdom though...). This could be a cool way for the KKs to get from park to park without losing their golden passes!
I can't necessarily see them getting on the cruise ship or traveling to Tokyo (UNLESS... their in DHI form!! -gasps-)
But, I think it would be cool to include Disneyland as it was Walt's original park. One huge yet secret element Disneyland has over Disney World is Club 33.
For anyone who doesn't know, Club 33 is a private club located in the heart of the New Orleans Square section of Disneyland. Walt Disney created Club 33 as special place was needed where he could entertain visiting dignitaries and others in a quiet. Nowadays it is used by celebrities and other people of high status to hide away with their families while enjoying the magic of Disney.
When riding Pirates of the Caribbean, just as the ride departs, the Blue Bayou restaurant is visible, but the balconies above it are actually a part of Club 33.

I think that it would be amazing if the Kingdom Keepers could travel to Disneyland/California Adventures. The way they could end up there is that they needed to record new DHI's for the park. The Kingdom Keepers wouldn't have to move there, just stay for a quick vacation while they record their DHI's. While at the parks, the Kingdom Keepers could end up at unique rides to the Disneyland parks, including Indiana Jones, the pirate lair on Tom Sawyer Island, California Screamin', and the Storybook Boats. It would be a great place to keep looking for the Stonecutter's Quill because Disneyland is the place where it all began! Thanks, and good luck on the fourth installment!
They should go to New York. I think it would be cool to have the KKs chasing malificent around Broadway. In NY people wouldn't find it weird to have someone walking around dressed like a Disney villian. Plenty of strange things happen in NY and it's all a normal day to New Yorkers. Perhaps the KKs could be on a promo tour and have an appearance on Good Morning America (Disney owns ABC, after all).
I'd also like to see them go to some of the other areas around Disney World like Fantasia mini golf, or Boardwalk area. There are some great, lesser known attractions that people might like to know more about. Such as the light parade on Bay Lake that goes from resort to resort. That could be a way to signal overtakers lurking at the resorts.
Another area I think it would be cool to go to is the old River Country. It's closed now and I think it would be a great hang out for overtakers to gather and plan. I've never been, but I bet it's creepy just because it's been closed for so long.
If you are looking for distant places, the Disney cruise would be cool. Especially with The Flying Dutchman there. I've been to Castaway Cay and it's really remote. There's plenty of places to roam. I bet it's spooky at night. Maybe the ship winds up in Hawaii where Disney is building a new resort.
I'm not sure how I feel about going to the parks in other countries. Part of the fun is knowing all the places the KKs are running around to.
I'd really like them to be in Hollywood Studios if the third book takes primarily in the third book because it's my favorite park after Magic Kingdom, sorry my opinion there, but anyway, I'd like to see them go to that Fantasmic show as one of the Anonymous suggested in the beginning. The showdown would be awesome but it'd be cool in my opinion, if they go to Disneyland or something like that but since it's not Disney World, I'll say I'd like them to go to maybe a Water Park since it is mentioned in the book and I think it's pretty cool and I'd think Blizzard Beach would be a fun place to fight or maybe Downtown Disney, now that's some place! But otherwise, I think it's fine with Disney Hollywood Studios because it would fit to the parks you wrote about in the Disney World area resort (aside from several locations not related to the theme parks like the Wide World Complex) and yeah, I think it'd be great that maybe they'll discover something there but you can go wherever you feel it's best as well. As a reader of the Kingdom Keeper series, I guess I would love to see myself following Finn and his friends' adventures in Disney Hollywood Studios again since you do mention it in the first two books....so yeah, Disney Hollywood Studios would be my choice for the fourth book! My mom and I love the Kingdom Keepers!!! I am the fellow St. Louisian that sent you the picture of me and my KK1 book report for school. anyway.
1)I think that you should do the resorts 4 KK4. I think that would be cool. At disney world at the beach club (one of the resorts) there is this SWEET water slide at the pool that is on a "pirate ship" and maybe finn could meet one of his enemies on there and then everything would go downhill-er slide (haha bad joke) from there. if you go to the hollywood studios you kinda already went there in KK1 to get the pens. that was a big part of the story.
2)another idea is that they could go 2 Kansas City and other places walt lived. or they could go back in time to "grow up" with walt. maybe they could get clues there...?

btw, there should be a LOT of KK books kinda like the babysitters club series, or the boxcar children... this could be a HUGE series, bc there r LOTS of places that disney has 2 offer. maybe for later in the series (hopefully there WILL be more) one of the DHI's parents is a disney vacation club member and they go on one of those vacation places like in italy or france.............
i no that lots of people r wanting disneyland, but y aren't u guys wanting disney world? there lots parks there like the water parks or downtown disney r lots of other places in the mk ridley didn't mention.............

1. If KK3 takes place mainly in Epcot, then they should go to Hollywood studios/MGM
2. If its going to be the last book, they should end defeating the otakers in Magic Kingdom, with diffrent rides and stuff.
3. If you do expand beyond the parks, you should stay in Florida. I mean, how are they supposed to sneak out from their parents onto a cruise ship or to paris??? It should go to Blizzard Beach if you decide to expand so they can still find a way to avoid supicion from their parents.

I am overjoyed and cant wait for KK3, I shall get it at Midnight. Ill bring it to my first day of middleschool, and read it all day long! Anywho, I think you should get involved with DisneyLand, my friends and I have a blog all abotu your books, IrishFinneganFan is a member. I think it is a very bad idea to have any of the kks dead. All of them worked together and are still very young.
In kks4, I think the kks should sail in the Disney Cruise and open up minds for the readers. Personaly I have sailed on the Disney Cruise and it was a magical adventure. There would be a lot of things to describe that will catch the readers attention. I used to go to Disney on Ice when I was little and it was fun. Since maleficant was the head overtaker for the parks, Ersala should be the head overtaker for sea.

I LOVE THE KK BOOKS SOOOO MUCH!!! These are my favorite books ever and I am not exagerating. Ridley I thank you so much for writing a KK3 and 4! I plead you to continue with a 5th, a 6th, and maybe up to a 10th. I love all your books and when I heard this news about the KKs I screamed and my sister screamed with me (in a good way)!

DISNEYLAND! PLEASE DISNEYLAND! WDW always gets more attention, but it's only got the second park, not the first! But as much as I want to see it in California, I'm not really sure how you'll work it unless it's a spinoff with new DHIs or Finn moves. If you go around the world, it can work better as there are kids who get selected to go to stuff like that on a program called People To People
I've been very busy with school and I haven't had a chance to read KK2. However, when I do read it, I'm sure I'll be left speechless.
I think KK4 should take place in Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. If KK3 is going to be in Epcot, Hollywood Studios should be left for the last book, in which we see Fantasmic! as the final scene of KK5. I love your writing and I cannot wait to read KK2.
I agree with the cruise ship, they could go through the Bermuda Triangle and like Edward Cullen said with Ursla stealing wayne's voice. I haven't read the second because its checked out at the library, but it will be awesome!
oh my gosh!!!!!! You have emailed me before and told me about kk3 but kk4 amazing!!!!!! i did read the post about kk5 and i would gladly participate in the making of it. If i could give any ideas as to where kk4 would be i would think that Finn and his friends would all be going on summer vacation and they think they are going their seperate ways but soon they relize wayne set up the whole thing and they all get on a disney cruise ship and they have to battle their way home because maleficent captures control of the boat and is holding them hostage. That is my oppinion though and to be completely honest i dont care what kk4 is about as long as its based on the magical world of disney thanks for listening
by the way i think they could also go to disneyland california and team up with those DHIs and save the park
