As you can imagine, I need to focus my writing time on my books. That said, I do read every e-mail I receive from readers, with two exceptions; I stop if an e-mail is inappropriate and, for legal reasons, I can't read your ideas, stories or work you'd like to see published. My e-mails are also read by my assistant, Jenn, in case I miss one. So, we've got you covered!
I can no longer answer all the e-mails—there are just too many. Jenn will type answers after talking to me about them in order to reserve my typing/writing time to the books. (Thank you!) So, if your questions relate to one of the FAQs, chances are you may not hear back. Also, if you've written me before, it may be a while before you hear back—preference is given to first-timers.
If you want, you might try entering into discussions on the chat—there may be readers there who know more about a particular topic, or want to exchange ideas with you.
I am thrilled that you're reading my books. Seriously! I communicate with readers through Twitter, Facebook and a regular newsletter. Thanks for checking out my site and keep reading!

To speak at your school
Ridley uses a speaking agent, Sharon Tucci, to book school appearances. Because it takes him away from writing, there is a fee to have him appear at your school. However, he also makes other school visits while on book tour, so check the Appearances page to see if he's coming to your school anytime soon.
