There are many projects in the works and many books coming out soon.

I'm currently starting a second Kingdom Keepers. I begin research in September by visiting the Animal Kingdom (Walt Disney World) with an Imagineer. I hope the book will be published by this time next year - Fall of 2007.

I've been asked to explore the idea of a "thriller" set in the world of Broadway Disney. More on this as I work through the research.

I'm just finishing up the first draft to STEEL TRAP, an action/adventure thriller set around the accidental theft of a briefcase and Collin Wilcox's attempt to get rid of it. Inside is something horrible. Fourteen year old Collin is attending the national Science Challenge in Washington, DC, showing off an invention. He winds up involved with agents of the federal government, a girl at the Science Challenge named Kaileigh, and a man named Grym who will stop at nothing to get that briefcase back.

Books with DAVE BARRY

Dave and I have a young reader novel called Escape From The Carnivale, being published in late September 2006. It's a NEVER LAND ISLAND book that features characters from Peter and the Starcatchers, but without Peter and Molly. It's about 150 pages, and has many more illustrations by the wonderful GREG CALL.

The second in the NEVER LAND ISLAND series, Cave Of The Dark Wind, is scheduled for April of 2007. We hope to write as many of these smaller books as possible.

We are hard at work on the final book in the Peter Trilogy. Hopefully book #3, the last, will be published in September of 2007. Stay tuned!
