MOVIE NEWS: Dave Barry and I have closed a deal with Disney Animation to film PETER AND THE STARCATCHERS as a theatrical feature animation (think Shrek). If all went perfectly it would take 3-4 years to see the film reach the theaters. This also gives Disney Theatrical (Broadway) the rights to develop the book as a Broadway musical, if they so choose. Dave and I have started the second Starcatchers novel: Peter and the Shadowthieves, scheduled for 2006. It's a blast! CUT AND RUN's publication date (APRIL 5) draws near. There's a pre-tour planned (March 14-18) and a book tour planned (see Appearances, April) and we'll be running all sorts of on-line contests as we approach pub date. To guarantee yourself a 1st Edition, you can order the novel now from a number of on-line vendors as well as your local independent.
