MARCH 2006 NEWSLETTER Dave Barry and I are on tour in the United Kingdom for PETER AND THE STARCATCHERS. Check APPEARANCES regularly. I'm closing in on the final few scenes of next year's crime novel to be Published by Putnam. I hope to have a preview chapter up on the site in the months to come. The Pixar/Disney deal doesn't seem to have hurt Peter and the Starcatchers, which is great news. Some readers of this newsletter will recalll that similar internal changes hurt Boldt deals at both HBO and A&E in years past. Speaking of Boldt—many of you have asked if/when he'll be seen again, and the answer is: yes. I have every intention of writing many more Boldt novels. First, I need your support for next year's novel: KILLER WEEKEND... Boldt will follow at some point soon. I'm excited by several current projects, book, TV, and film, including a YA thriller for Disney Books, Steel Trap, and a television series for Equinoxe Film. The speaking engagements continue and have been a blast (Richardson, Texas was a lot of fun). I'm gearing up for the REMAINDER'S TOUR April 26-29 in Dallas, Denver, and the LA Book Festival, including an appearance on the Craig Ferguson late late show. Hope to see you out on the road.
