JULY 2002 NEWSLETTER THE HIDDEN SECRET: Ridley Pearson wrote (#1 New York Times Bestseller) The Diary Of Ellen Rimbauer, a companion piece to Stephen's King Rose Red miniseries for ABC TV. For those of you who have wanted to read more, and different books by Ridley, the Diary is still out in paperback and on shelves. But hurry, by July, they will start to be taken off paperback racks around the country. They'll still be available through bookstores. This has been kept a secret for nearly two years. The hardcover was published in Feb. of this year.. I think you'll enjoy it. I had SO MUCH FUN writing this first person Diary from a woman's point of view at the turn of the century -- and many took the Diary for real, not realizing it was fiction. It was great fun to collaborate with Stephen, a buddy from the Remainders, and we've recently been asked by ABC TV to develop a two hour movie of the Diary for that network. We'll see.
