SEPTEMBER 2001 NEWSLETTER Dear Friends: Saddened by events of 9-11 (dear friends of ours are related to (hero) Jeremy Glick), I have been debating whether to send out a newsletter this month. Suffice it to say the Pearsons are well, and we hope this note finds you the same. The site has languished these past weeks. I'm attempting to complete an outline to the Boldt book to follow Art Of Deception, and with my brain refusing to function very well, the site just hasn't been in my thoughts. Encouraged by Heidi to get things going again, we will try to post a contest for October -- maybe something to do with the Remainders -- as we tour in support of America Scores Oct 29 - Nov 2. (See Appearances) I have canceled my tour to England to promote Parallel Lies. Hopefully Orion Books will have me back next year about this same time to promote Art Of Deception. The movie world is on complete hold, so no news on that front. Thankfully my good friends at Hyperion Books were unharmed by the events of 9-11. Thanks to everyone on the MESSAGE BOARD for your sharing, your support, and your kindness. We WILL prevail. Hopefully there's still a place for crime fiction in this world.
